The George Taylor Foundation was created on July 8, 2008. The Foundation is named after George Taylor, the signor of the Declaration of Independence who came to America as indentured servant and became one of the Founding Fathers of this great nation. George Taylor embodied the American dream, working his way up from servitude to amass a great fortune. In addition to his economic success through hard work and dedication, George Taylor then started his political career in the Pennsylvania Assembly. Eventually Taylor’s dedication toward freedom and justice culminated in his selection to become one of the representatives from Pennsylvania to sign the Declaration of Independence.
The George Taylor Foundation is aptly named as the headquarters is located in Easton, PA, where George Taylor lived a good portion of his life and lies to rest till this day in the Easton Cemetery. George Taylor was instrumental in the early foundation of the Lehigh Valley, having a lasting impact throughout Northampton and Lehigh Counties. In his honor, we are dedicated toward making the lives of Pennsylvanians and all of Americans better.
The Foundation is dedicated to promoting the causes of freedom, liberty, capitalism, personal responsibility, responsible citizenship, open government, and national sovereignty, among other issues. The George Taylor Foundation will proudly publish editorials, interviews, videos, and other commentaries from concerned citizens and politicians who are dedicated to these causes. We look forward to working on a grass roots level in order to help make this a more perfect union.
